Description
Thermostatic element (thermostatic head) LEMAX ET03 is a sensing element (bellows) with a fixed stem in a plastic housing. An increase in the temperature of the thermostatic head causes the expansion of the liquid inside the bellows. The bellows acts upon the stem of the thermostatic head, which in turn exerts a force on the stem of the thermostatic valve or valve insert, thus reducing the flow of the thermal fluid or completely shutting it off depending on the stroke of the stem.
Increase in the temperature of the thermostatic head has the opposite effect. This is the way the heat output of the heater is quantitatively controlled. The thermostatic element has been designed to prevent stagnation and freezing of the heating medium in the heater during the cold season. Even if the minimum value on the scale of the thermostatic head is selected, the room temperature will be maintained at 6°C protecting users from freezing of the heating medium in the heater.
