Valve Compact Hygiene radiators with bottom connection

Valve Compact hygiene radiators with bottom connection

LEMAX Premium radiators of types 10, 20, 30 are called hygiene or sanitary radiators, because they are particularly easy to clean: both sides of the heating panel are easy to wash and clean from dust. Bottom connection makes the appearance of radiators tidier and makes it possible to completely hide the heating pipes. Radiators are produced with welded Hook/Standart fasteners. Radiators of types 10, 20, 30 of the standard complete set with top and side covers may be manufactured on request.

Main features of Valve Compact hygiene radiators:

  • no convective panels and protective grilles;
  • bottom connection (the ability to hide heating pipes);
  • possibility of temperature control.

Design of VC radiators

LEMAX Premium hygiene radiators are simple in design. They only consist of heating panels, which are fastened to the wall using mounting brackets. Radiators are connected with the pipes of the heating system through two bottom holes located next to each other. The radiator design includes a Danfoss RA-N 013G1382 valve for heat-transfer agent flow control. Radiators with bottom connection (VC) are produced with right bottom holes for connection to the heating system. Radiators with left bottom holes for connection to the heating system are available on request.

Each radiator has six mounting holes:

  • the first lower hole is intended for the inlet and outlet of heat-transfer agent;
  • the second lower hole is an outlet of heat-transfer agent;
  • the third hole is completed with a Danfoss RA-N 013G1382 valve for temperature control;
  • the fourth hole is equipped with a bleed screw (air release valve);
  • two more holes are closed with plugs.

Technical data on VC hygiene radiators:

  • maximum working pressure is 1,0 MPa;
  • test pressure is 1,5 MPa;
  • maximum heat-transfer agent temperature is 120 °C;
  • height is 300, 400, 500, 600 mm;
  • length is from 400 to 3000 mm with 100 mm step.

Application

Hygienic radiators are specially designed for premises with higher hygiene requirements, i.e. for medical and children's institutions, and public premises.

Advantages of VC hygiene radiators with bottom connection:

  • simple clean design;
  • low weight;
  • easy cleaning;
  • bottom connection;
  • heat-transfer agent flow control.

Component parts

Valve Compact hygiene radiators of types 10, 20, 30 come standard with the following:

  • a radiator – 1 pce;
  • an L-shaped bracket – 2 pcs. for radiators with a length of up to 1700 mm, 3 pcs. for radiators with a length of over 1700 mm;
  • a bleed screw – 1 pce;
  • a blind plug – 2 pcs;
  • mounting brackets – 4 pcs. (dowel-screw) for radiators with a length of up to 1700 mm, 6 pcs. (dowel-screw) for radiators with a length of over 1700 mm;
  • Danfoss RA-N 013G1382* built-in valve - 1 pce;
  • package (plastic corners and overlays, two layers of shrink film);
  • a technical passport.

* for hygiene radiators with bottom connection (VC) equipped with a Danfoss RA-N 013G1382 built-in valve; the following thermal heads are recommended: Danfoss RTR-C 013G7070, Danfoss OEM / RTR 013G7097, Danfoss Eco 014G1003.

Fastening

Radiators with bottom connection are fastened to the wall with four brackets; if the length is more than 1700 mm, six mounting brackets are used. Special dowels (wall plugs) are additionally used to fasten radiators to plasterboard walls.

Warranty

The manufacturer's warranty for VC panel radiators is 10 years. The use of Russian steel 08Ю or DC01 and production on the Leas up-to-date equipment (Italy) guarantee the radiator quality. All radiators undergo the mandatory control of geometric parameters and tests under pressure of 13.5 bar (1.35 MPa). The radiators comply with GOST 31311-200.

Mounting recommendations

For the radiator effective functioning it is necessary to provide space for convection. Therefore, parameters such as the distance from the edge of the radiator to the floor, wall and window sill are regulated:

  • the distance from the lower edge of the radiator to the floor is at least 75% of the radiator depth;
  • the distance from the upper edge to the window sill is at least 75% of the depth at a height of 300 mm and at least 90% at a height of 500 mm;
  • the distance to the wall depends on the fastening features, in particular on the location of the anchor bolt.

The depth of the product depends on its type - 10, 20, or 30. The correct radiator placement will provide maximum heat transfer, as well as easy cleaning of the room and easy access to the radiator mounting assemblies.

Notes:

  • radiators are installed by a specialized installation company;
  • it is obligatory to check the radiator before operation;
  • when installing radiators of type VC, it is important to follow the markings indicating the inlet and outlet pipes;
  • the heating system must be indirect and closed;
  • the radiator is installed in the original package; this will prevent damage to the surface of the radiator or deposition of construction waste on it.
