When developing an interior design, each professional designer considers the type of room, its purpose, the preferences of tenants, and fashion trends. Manufacturers often produce radiators in a standard white color. When radiators are placed in the public domain, they can spoil the appearance of the room and blend poorly with the interior. For bolder color schemes, a white radiator will not come in handy and will rather look like "blank space" than an asset. Lemax offers a solution to this problem.
LEMAX Modern steel panel radiators consist of heating panels and a perfectly smooth decorative casing. The number of panels and convectors varies from 2 to 3 units (type 20, 21, 22, 30, 33). The radiator design makes them stylish and suitable for any interior – both home and office. Lemax offers a wide range of steel panel radiators with the option to paint them in any color.
A colored radiator in the design will allow highlighting an accent in the interior or rather conceal it. You can choose a color to match the wall or give preference to some contrasting shade, which will prove an original supplement to your room design.
Lemax gives creative people the opportunity to implement the most daring interior projects and solutions through a wide color palette of radiators produced. You can select your desired shade from more than 200 RAL colors, from classic white to bold red, green, or blue. You can also choose a glossy or matte finish. Such a non-trivial interior solution as a colored radiator will not leave any customer indifferent.
Modern trends require a modern approach to production. LEMAX Modern radiators are produced in the Russian plant for steel panel radiator production, equipped with two state-of-the-art production lines with a capacity of 1.2 million radiators per year. The model radiator matrix is represented by radiators with side and bottom connections, heights from 200 mm to 600 mm, horizontal versions from 400 mm to 3,000 mm long, and vertical versions from 400 mm to 2,000 mm long.
2021 marked the launch of mass production of Lemax Modern decorative radiators, embodying a new concept for the purpose of steel panel radiators: visual prowess and functionality. LEMAX Modern radiators are designed for operation in closed heating systems: in apartment buildings and private buildings, in public and industrial facilities.

In 2024, Lemax plans to launch the third line for steel panel radiator production, which will increase production capacity to 1.8 million radiators per year.
In 2022, Lemax – the Taganrog manufacturer of heating equipment – increased revenue by 11.5%, to almost 7 billion rubles, and net profit by 11%, to 920 million rubles. The company makes no comment on its business performance dynamics. Their growth may result from the ongoing process of import substitution in the market of radiators and heating boilers, as well as Lemax’s investment projects implemented over the recent years.
According to SPARK-Interfax, over the past five years, Lemax LLC has increased its revenue by 2.5 times – from 2.7 billion rubles in 2018 to almost 7 billion rubles in 2022. In 2018, the company started producing steel heating radiators. First of all, Lemax invested 813.5 million rubles in its new plant with a capacity of 600 thousand radiators. The company launched a second line for the production of radiators in 2020. The investment volume amounted to 650 million rubles, doubling the production capacity of the enterprise.
In July 2021, the company’s CEO Maksim Matusevich and the governor of the Rostov Region Vasilii Golubev signed an agreement at Innoprom on further radiator production expansion. Commenting on the document, Mr. Matusevich spoke about Lemax’s intention to invest 5.3 billion rubles in this project.
Despite the positive revenue dynamics in 2022, the increase was more modest than in previous years. In 2019, revenue grew by almost 22% (to 3.3 billion rubles), in 2020 by more than 27% (to 4.2 billion rubles), and 2021 was a record growth year – 48%, revenue increased up to 6.2 billion rubles.
The reason behind the reduced growth rates may lie in different trends in Lemax's two main markets – steel heating radiators and domestic gas boilers and water heaters. According to Russian foreign trade statistics, in 2021, Russia increased the import of gas boilers by 16%. The largest foreign suppliers of this equipment were Italy (24%), Korea (23%), Turkey (18%), Slovakia (13%), and China (11%). Following the start of the Special Military Operation, most foreign companies remained on the Russian market, so the decrease in import volumes cannot be regarded as significant. At the same time, some Russian manufacturers are considering freeing up niches previously occupied by Ukrainian companies. For instance, last year, Apex LLC from Taganrog announced its intention to increase the production volume of boilers by 9%, from 55 thousand to 60 thousand units due to the departure of Ukrainian brands and a decrease or stop in the supply of domestic equipment due to disruptions in the supply of imported components.
The situation is different in the case of steel radiators. According to the Association of Heating Radiator Producers, the refusal of European suppliers to work in the Russian market in this segment has led to the fact that the share of domestic products in this segment has reached 90%.
LEMAX Premium steel panel radiators comply with the Russian standard GOST 31311-205 and the European standard EN-442.

On April 30, the Taganrog LEMAX enterprise launched the second stage of the plant for steel panel radiator production. The total plant capacity will double and amount to 1.2 million radiators per year, which will make it one of the largest in both Russia and Europe.
Production capabilities will provide for expanding the range of radiators with a height of 200, 400 and 600 mm with the ability to implement any design solutions for panel color and texture.
The amount of investment in the second stage is 1 billion rubles, including 50% of the investment amount is a loan provided by SBERBANK of Russia for 10 years. The total investment volume of the two stages will, therefore, be about 2.5 billion rubles. Upon completion of construction, the total production capacity will be 1,200,000 radiators per year.
Simultaneously with the launch of the second stage, the LEMAX plant will expand the range of standard sizes of radiators produced, and will also launch the production of decorative radiators with the ability to implement any design solutions for the color and texture of radiator panels. The market now offers various types of LEMAX Premium steel panel radiators: with side connection, with universal connection, hygienic radiators in any color, according to the RAL palette. You can always get detailed information about new products on the official company website lemax-radiator.ru
The Lemax company announced several projects worth 6.5 billion rubles at the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi this year, having probably become one of the largest investors in the region. The CEO and co-owner of Lemax CPA CJSC Maksim Matusevich spoke in detail about the company’s projects.
He said that by March 2020, Lemax will build the second stage of production of steel panel radiators at its plant in Taganrog, and the investments will amount to 750 million rubles. The existing plant capacity will be doubled to 1.2 million radiators per year. The equipment is currently being manufactured and will be shipped from Italy. The first stage of the plant for heating radiator production was launched in March 2018. The investments amounted to 1.5 billion rubles. The payback period is 10 years. The company thus intends to take up 25% of the steel panel radiator market in the future.
The company plans to supply radiators throughout Russia, to the EU countries and neighboring countries: Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. Supplies will be adjusted through the existing Lemax dealer network, which currently numbers over 4,000 retail outlets. According to Maksim Matusevich, the setting up of a radiator plant is an example of business diversification.
Lemax also intends to invest in the expansion of related industries. Over 400 million rubles will be invested in a new painting shop, as well as a metal cutting and bending shop. This is a brand new direction for the company (Metcor company) — the establishment of the metal furniture production (for the needs of medicine or various industries). Metcor currently places its orders at Lemax's facilities.
In addition, the company previously acquired a neighboring land plot of about 5 hectares. A modern Class A warehouse complex with an area of 20 thousand square meters will be built there. According to Matusevich, the company's current warehouse is fully loaded and can no longer cope with the increased production volume. The investments in this area will amount to 800 million rubles.
The bulk of Lemax's investments — 4.7 billion rubles — will be allocated for the construction of a new plant that will produce innovative energy-efficient heating equipment and its components. Lemax intends to implement this project in cooperation with its Italian partners. Matusevich is yet to disclose the details of the project. The company is also considering the creation of two brand new production directions.
"Now the company has two main directions — the production of steel panel radiators and the production of heating and water heating equipment. In general, we must produce products according to European standards. We are currently negotiating supplies to the European Union. Speaking of radiator production, we expect to export a significant share of our products in the future. Today we take up 30% of the boiler market in Russia," Maksim Matusevich says.
By the way, steel panel radiators produced by Lemax LLC passed the procedure for confirming compliance with European quality standards at the machine-building testing center in Brno, Czech Republic, and received a certificate in March of this year.
He singles out low price and quality comparable to leading manufacturers among the company's competitive edges for the new production of radiators. "We do it cheaper than many European manufacturers who have moved their production to Turkey, because they also use Russian steel," notes Maksim Matusevich. In his words, Lemax does not compete with Chinese manufacturers, who mainly supply radiators made of aluminum and bimetal to our market.
According to the commercial director of Altair LLC Vadim Zolotarev, given Lemax’s range of boilers, the company will most likely develop a domestic line of boilers at new production facilities, especially in the premium segment. "Most likely, someone else’s production can be localized. At the same time, it is still more profitable to purchase the production of individual electronic components and gas burners abroad; in any case, everything depends on production volumes," says Zolotarev. In his view, there are now many European and Chinese manufacturers on the market, so domestic manufacturers need to constantly meet the requirements of a competitive market.
According to the study "Market of centralized heating radiators in Russia", prepared by the ROIF EXPERT marketing agency, the production of centralized heating radiators in the domestic market is expanding, but most of the centralized heating radiator market is still filled with goods from import players. The result of the last five years, and especially 2017 and 2018, suggests that in the Russian market of centralized heating radiators, in fact, 59% of radiators are imported products.
According to the Rusklimat holding, in 2019 the Russian market of steel panel radiators will amount to 4.8 million units.
Lemax LLC was registered in Taganrog in July 1992. Based on the Seldon.Basis data, the company’s revenue for 2017 amounted to 1.6 billion rubles, among which the net profit constituted 144.5 million rubles. The parent company is Lemax CPA CJSC.
LEMAX Premium steel panel radiators with side and bottom connections of types 10,11, 20, 21, 22, 30, 33 are already available for sale.
The high quality and reliability of LEMAX Premium steel panel radiators was confirmed by a European certificate, which was the first issues to Russian radiator-producing enterprises. This is a voluntary and very strict certification procedure. It was possible to achieve recognition of high quality products through the use of high-tech equipment, the introduction of advanced product quality control systems, and the use of state-of-the-art technologies. The Lemax team of professionals has gained extensive experience working at leading European enterprises, which has allowed them to implement the most successful industry solutions.
The reliability and high performance of steel radiators was further confirmed by DoP (Declaration of Performance No. DoP-LP19/001-GB). The "Declaration of Radiator Performance" was prepared by the enterprise in accordance with EU standard No. 305/2011 CPR. This document sets out all the important properties and characteristics of the product that must be preserved during the production of each new batch. To appreciate the importance of having a declaration, it's worth recalling that without it, goods cannot enter the European market for products used in the construction industry.
Advantages of LEMAX Premium
The key advantages of LEMAX Premium radiators are as follows:
- heating equipment is made of certified cold-rolled steel. This production technology ensures that radiators are resistant to water hammer and mechanical damage;
- before applying white epoxy-polyester paint, the surfaces are treated with a special polyester-based primer. This coating does not change its color during operation.
The special composition of paint is resistant to cracking due to temperature changes.
- The production line uses automated equipment for welding with medium and high currents. The technology creates a monolithic connection, ensuring quality welds.
In August 2018, the Lemax company presented a pilot batch of decorative steel panel radiators LEMAX Premium types 11, 21, 22 and 33. The consumer is now free to choose the design of the front panel of the equipment. The manufacturer produces radiators of various textures, colors and designs.
One of the advantages of LEMAX Premium decorative radiators is the front panel removable design. Any classic model in the range can be converted into standard equipment or a new design by simply replacing the front panel. The Lemax enterprise has already announced that it is accepting individual orders for the production of new-line decorative radiators.
At the Lemax plant, for the production of classic and decorative radiators, they use cold-rolled steel of the DC01 grade, which complies with European and American standards, as well as the 08Yu grade, which complies with the Russian GOST standard. The panel thickness is minimum 1.2 mm. Equipment elements are connected via resistance welding technology. Weld processing is performed on an automated line, so the welded joints of LEMAX Premium radiators are highly durable and reliable.
Welded radiators are treated with polyester primer and painted using electrostatic spraying of epoxy-polyester paint. The polymer coating hardens in special ovens at a temperature of 180 °C. The paint provides enhanced protection against corrosion, retains color during operation and is marked by high durability.
Classic and decorative LEMAX Premium radiators are packaged on an automatic line. Each product is wrapped in shrink film. Special liners are used for corner protection. The radiators are supplied with a product certificate and installation accessories. Reliable packaging is the key to product safety during transportation and installation.
The current production capacity of the plant for steel panel radiator production is 600 thousand products per year. On July 31, the Lemax enterprise and Sberbank of Russia signed an agreement to provide an investment loan to finance the construction of the second stage of a plant for steel panel radiator production. Upon completion of construction, the total production capacity will amount to 1,200,000 radiators per year.
The Lemax enterprise has implemented a quality management system ISO 9001-2015, covering not only production processes but also document flow, logistics, sales mechanisms, environmental policy, and the provision of factories with resources, including qualified specialists. Active use of promising approaches ensures consistently high product performance.
The Lemax company is one of the leading domestic manufacturers of heating equipment. The Lemax trademark products are developed for use in Russian conditions, showcasing durability and reliability, and are superior to their imported counterparts in many respects. A wide selection of boilers, radiators, and other products allows creating a heating system for a specific facility, considering its size, technical and operational requirements, as well as the climatic characteristics of the region.
Verification of the Association of Heating Radiator Producers (AHRP) involves a series of complex tests for compliance with GOST requirements and verification of the actual specifications of heating radiators. The association's activities are aimed at eliminating the possibility of fraud and provision of false information about equipment by manufacturers and importers. LEMAX Premium radiators are among the few radiators that have passed the verification procedure.
Verification procedure
At the request of the Association of Heating Radiator Producers, tests were taken in an accredited laboratory on the model C22×500×500 radiator. The radiator was tested for compliance of technical specifications with regulatory requirements of standards for the following indicators:
-
durability and tightness;
-
static durability;
-
rated heat flux;
-
coating quality;
-
threading;
-
linear dimensions;
-
quality of the wall in contact with water;
-
components.
LEMAX Premium steel panel radiators meet all requirements, and, in some respects, they differ from standard values in a positive direction. The actual nominal heat flow exceeds the declared values by 4.36%.
New-generation steel radiators
The positive AHRP verification is not the only document confirming the quality and reliability of LEMAX Premium equipment. These radiators have been certified for compliance with the requirements of GOST 31311–2005 at a pressure of 13.5 bar, which is 1.5 times the maximum permissible operating pressure. The warranty for the model range is 10 years. The special design of steel panels ensures rapid heating of radiators and high heat transfer. The LEMAX Premium line of steel panel radiators includes equipment with various connection options, standard sizes, and design geometry.

The Lemax LLC has opened a production plant for panel radiators with a capacity of 600 thousand units per year with the prospect of doubling, in Taganrog. The volume of investments amounted to 1.5 billion rubles. The company plans to sell its products in Russia and the CIS through a dealer network. Analysts say that the Russian market has a high need for radiators. If Lemax opens the plant, it will be a logical step to diversify the products.
In Taganrog today Lemax LLC has opened the first line of the production plant of panel radiators, the construction of which began in 2016. The company invested 1.5 billion rubles in the project. "Sberbank" and its partners of European banks have provided an investment loan in the amount of 650 million rubles. The production capacity will be 600 thousand radiators per year. The representatives of the Lemax reported that the openings of the second line will double the plant's capacity. According to preliminary estimates, the payback period of the project will be ten years.
A warehouse complex, three workshops and four assembly lines will be built on the territory of the enterprise, as reported " Kommersant-Yug " in the press service of Lemax. The company plans to supply the radiators throughout Russia and in CIS countries: Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. Delivery will establish through a dealer network Lemax, now there are 20 companies in it.
“The panel radiators were supplied mainly by companies from Turkey, Italy and Germany to Russia until 2014, then after the imposition of sanctions, supplies from these countries have reduced or stopped at all. Market analysis conducted by our marketers showed that in Russia and a number of CIS countries the need for panel radiators sharply increased because of this,” reported Yulia Pesai, public relations specialist. She added that there are only two enterprises producing panel radiators in Russia now.
"In the last few years, the volume of imports of radiators to Russia has decreased by more than 40%, this is due to strengthening of the customs regulation of the import of heating equipment, significant exchange rate revaluation of the ruble, lobbying activities of the Association of Heating Radiator Producers (APHR) and introducing independent certification of heating equipment by the Russian System of Quality (“Roskachestvo”). Russian producers met domestic demand by only 10% in 2012, today the part of consumption of radiators produced in Russia is growing and is already over 40%. According to forecasts, this figure will be 75% by 2020. The company Lemax has all the prospects for rapid production loading and reaching the designed capacity, "- added Egor Izvarin, the leading financial advisor of the branch" BCS Premier ", Rostov-on-Don. He noted that the opening of the production plant of radiators is a logical, well-timed and economically justified step of the company to diversify the product line, taking into account the availability of its own production, technical-scientific and raw material resources base.
"The Lemax products must be in demand. In Russia the pace of housing construction continues to be high, although they were slow in the last couple of years. This guarantees the demand for heating equipment, including radiators. Decreasing interest rates on mortgages will promote the growth of demand for new living quarters, and a low average level of household incomes - lower prices for finished housing. In these conditions, building owner are forced to economize and rely on cheaper materials and components of domestic production, given that the producers are able to ensure the proper quality of the products ", - said Aleksei Kalachev, analytical expert “Finam” JSC.
According to the Kartoteka.ru service, Lemax LLC was registered in Taganrog in 1992, the company is a subsidiary of Lemax limited company, creative and production association. The main activity is the production of central heating boilers. The revenue of Taganrog's subsidiary for the 2016 year exceeded 1.3 billion rubles.
Nikita Korolev, " Kommersant-Yug "
Since March 1, 2018, Lemax company is releasing a series production of steel panel-type radiators, which will complement the line of heating gas boilers and water heaters. LEMAX radiators are made from Russian steel on the Italian equipment. A well-established production process guarantees the reliability and efficiency of heating appliances. Heating panels are welded from sheets with a thickness of at least 1.2 mm. The production of LEMAX radiators uses polyester primer and epoxy-polyester paint, which is distinguished by a bright white colour, great anticorrosion and decorative properties, which does not turn yellow during operation and retains a luster of 90%.
An automated welding line of the Italian concern LEAS, the leader in the production of welding automatics has installed in the company. LEMAX radiators are produced with the latest LEAS equipment, released in 2017. A highly automated manufacturing process is managed by only two operators. Production processes are controlled by electronic monitoring, human participation is necessary for equipment maintenance and interoperational and output control of products. Only such a combination is the key to meeting the high demands of the market and world standards of quality. In the manufacture of LEMAX radiators the latest generation of technology is used and every step of the production is concerned with the quality of the finished devices.
Lemax will open the newest, largest in Russia, production plant of steel panel radiators on March 1. According to the representatives of plant, steel radiators of Taganrog production do not concede on quality to foreign analogs, but they are more available at cost. Radiators are made with steel of the best Russian manufacturers, meet Russian standards and are adapted for local heating systems.
The Italian production line Leas have been installed for the production of radiators. It is a reliable concern that has been manufacturing various production lines for over 40 years, implementing innovations constantly. The production line for the realizing of panel radiators is one of the know-how of the Italian concern. The combination of high-quality Russian steel and Italian equipment makes radiators more reliable, efficient and durable devices. The assortment consists of 432 models, so you can find all possible combinations: radiators with one, two or three panels, with the number of convectors from one to three. Each type is available in two versions – side and lower connection.
When you are choosing a radiator, it is very important to determine the required way of connection. Radiators Compact with side connection - this is a standard option that allows you effectively use the power of the radiator. It is suitable for apartment buildings with standard pipe routing.
Radiators ValveCompact with a lower connection allow you to disguise the pipes of the heating system. This connection method is recommended especially for rooms with lower pipe routing and warm floor. In addition, to emphasize the individual room design, you can choose a radiator of any colour, from an accessible palette.
Manufactured radiators pass multisample inspection, including checking the appearance, geometric dimensions and build quality. The reliability of the welds is tested at a pressure greater in one and a half time than the maximum working pressure.
The production on Italian equipment makes radiators reliable heating devices with a warranty period of 10 years.
"Each stage of the work of the Lemax is a concern for the high quality of what we produce. This allows us to offer consumers a decent product, and employees - an attractive working environment. We can create the highest quality radiators only together with motivated employees and active clients " – said Evgeny Zharkov, director of marketing, sales and future development.

Steel panel-type radiators are distinguished by their simple installation and low inertia: they quickly warm up and cool down, providing an optimal temperature conditions in the room. They are economical, because they do not require a lot of hot water. Thanks to these advantages, it is especially convenient to use panel radiators for home, in autonomous heating systems. It is also possible to install in the apartment blocks, because the radiators are tested at a pressure of 13.5 bar, which makes them resistant to hydraulic shocks of the central heating system.
